Alexis began her real estate career as a California real estate licensee in 1984, after completing her B.S. studies at Arizona State University in Finance, Real Estate. She was hired as the first female Commercial Real Estate Investment agent for Grubb & Ellis Sacramento. Specializing in multi-family transactions in Northern California, Alexis quickly rose to the top as Rookie of the Year. Alexis launched her distressed property career after the Savings & Loan crash of 1987, creating Grubb & Ellis’ National R.E.O. Program, where she coordinated the listing and sales of over $100 million in transactions for the firm.

In 1992 Alexis and her partner created the first foreclosure website, Foreclosures.com, which became the go to portal for investors and real estate professionals nationwide for off-market, distressed property information. Alexis, with her in depth deal-making experience, offered support, training and coaching to their countless, budding entrepreneur members, to help turn their foreclosure leads into profits.

In 2007 and 2008 Alexis published the “Guide to Making Huge Profits Investing in Pre-Foreclosures without Selling Your Soul” and “Guide to Advanced Investing Techniques You Won’t Learn Anywhere Else” through Wiley & Sons. Both books were highly reviewed and became national best selling business books. Alexis was the media’s expert “go-to” during the foreclosure crisis, being quoted in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times and more.
